The vintage motorbikes and antique clocks gave it a special touch that made me feel like I was truly experiencing the Vietnamese culture. The general areas, such as the dining room and rooftop terrace, were also very inviting and comfortable. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be easily accessible with no stairs to climb and helpful staff ready to assist me if needed.
I would have had a better vacation if the children working there were more attentive and responsive to the guests' needs.

The value for money at Garden Queen was fantastic! The room was beautifully decorated with antique décor and bamboo furnishings, giving it a unique ambiance. The hotel's location in the heart of the Old Quarter was perfect, allowing us to easily explore attractions like Hoan Kiem Lake and the water puppet theater on foot. We even walked to the French Quarter, Temple of Learning, and museums, only needing a taxi to/from the airport. The staff were very nice and helpful throughout our stay.
The breakfast offerings could have been improved with more consistency in the menu. One day we had noodle soup, toast, and a banana, but the next day there was a variety of fruits, eggs, noodle soup.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming atmosphere of the hotel. The decoration was filled with beautiful flowers and vintage furniture, creating a nostalgic and homely feel. The general areas such as the lobby and dining area were well-maintained and inviting. Additionally, the hotel had easy accessibility for senior people, with ramps and handrails throughout the building, making it safe and convenient for us to navigate.
I would have asked for a better vacation experience if the children working there could provide more assistance and support to senior guests.

During our Christmas stay, we had a fantastic experience at a hotel in the heart of Hanoi's Old Quarter. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised by the genuine Vietnamese atmosphere. The hotel had a quirky decor that added to its charm. We loved the fact that the staff was incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to assist us with a smile. They even allowed us to leave our luggage with them when we went on a day trip, which was a great convenience.
There were a few negative aspects that we encountered during our time at the hotel. the water pressure in our room was quite low, making the shower feel more like a trickle.

I had a truly enjoyable stay at the Garden Queen hotel. The location in the heart of the Old Quarter was perfect for exploring Hanoi. The breakfast, especially the delicious Pho, was a great way to start the day. The room itself was spacious and had a lovely view from the 6th floor. Despite some minor issues with the bathroom, such as an old, leaky bathtub and inconsistent water temperature, I would still highly recommend this hotel. I had a wonderful and memorable experience at the Garden Queen.

I recently stayed at a hotel in a vibrant area, with a great location right in the center. The staff made my stay exceptional with their kindness and helpfulness. They stored my luggage after checkout and even arranged a free car to the airport. The breakfast was delicious, especially the Pho. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the bathroom, although a bit outdated, was functional with good water pressure. it was a great value hotel in the heart of the Old Quarter.
That the airport pickup taxi was too small for our group, causing some discomfort during the ride.
